The Barkhamsted Historical Society is an all volunteer organization with no paid employees. We accept genealogical inquiries but unfortunately we just do not have the resources to help you with more than just basic questions. Click here for information on how to contact us.

	Sherry's Family Tree is a home grown genealogy site which includes information on a couple of names with ties to Barkhamsted: Webster and the Chaugham Family (of Barkhamsted Lighthouse fame).

Here you can get an idea of just what they have available, which includes Connecticut vital records, church, census, land, probate and military records. Understand that little if any of this is accessible directly through the Internet, however they do accept e-mail reference questions.
